Champlain Bridge: overnight closing towards Montreal on the night of Saturday
June 5 to Sunday June 6

LONGUEUIL, QC, June 4 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to announce the closing of two out of three lanes on the Champlain Bridge towards Montreal from 10 PM on Saturday June 5 to 8 AM on Sunday June 6.

These closings will allow finalization of the work begun on the night of June 1 to 2, namely installation of a water proofing membrane and paving on the Champlain Bridge at Section 5 (over the river). This work could be postponed depending on weather conditions.

The situation on the Champlain Bridge on the morning of Wednesday June 2 was exceptional. This situation was neither normal nor acceptable. You can be assured that we are working vigilantly so that a situation like this does not happen again.
