This 620-acre community is located just 12 minutes north of downtown Edmonton and will eventually be home to approximately 13,000 people. The community features Edmonton's most spectacular natural amenities and parks including three kilometers of walking paths, four pristine lakes, oversized green spaces, military tribute parks and monuments, and the award-winning 24 acre Central Hill Park with viewing summit. The community recognizes one of Edmonton's most dynamic personalities, Major General, William Antrobus Griesbach. It is located on lands that were formerly home to Canadian Forces Base Edmonton, which operated as one of western Canada's busiest military bases from the 1950's until 2001.
