Charles Taylor Foundation Welcomes Metropia as Major Sponsor of Canada's Most Prestigious Prize for Non-Fiction
TORONTO, Jan. 8, 2013 /CNW/ - Noreen Taylor, chair of the Charles Taylor Foundation, is pleased to announce that Metropia is the Major Sponsor of The Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction presented by RBC Wealth Management, effective immediately.
Mrs. Taylor commented: "It is a pleasure to welcome Metropia as a Major Sponsor to the Taylor Prize family. Metropia has a history of supporting the arts at the highest level and it is very rewarding to be under the umbrella of their corporate support. On a personal note, the Taylor family and Howard Sokolowski, Co-Founder and CEO, Metropia, have worked together - and happily - for the last dozen or so years. It is especially rewarding to be able to take old friendships to new levels."
Mr. Sokolowski responded with similar enthusiasm: "Metropia is proud to support The Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction as Major Sponsor and I personally look forward to continuing my successful and long standing working relationship with Noreen Taylor, and the Taylor family."
