Chasing Those Mudders Away - Canadian Adventure Race Pioneers Return for the 10th year of City Chase

TORONTO, Dec. 14, 2012 /CNW/ - Canada's first urban adventure series is celebrating its tenth anniversary with better, bigger and bolder challenges with a mandate to shake things up.  City Chase 2013 guarantees to push Chasers' limits physically, mentally and socially.

"City Chase is an amazing experience, totally unlike the other guys (referring to popular obstacle races)," said Dave Nash, Partner, InField Marketing Group and creator of City Chase. "It's an urban race, held in the downtown core of major cities; not two hours away in a farmer's field or ski resort."

Participants need to find and complete challenges requiring physical strength, mental acuity and out-of-the-box thinking to earn ChasePoints scattered throughout the City.   Chasers are eligible to cross the finish line once ten challenges have been completed.  In addition to testing determination, motivation and resourcefulness, City Chase spreads goodwill by encouraging participants to fundraise for its chartable partner, Right To Play.

City Chase 2013 will be racing in seven locations throughout Canada starting in Edmonton.  The stop schedule includes:

Edmonton- May 25
Calgary- June 8
Toronto #1- June 22
Montreal- July 13
Ottawa- July 27
Toronto #2- August 10
Vancouver- August 24
