The song won "Record of the Year" at the 58th annual Grammy Awards Monday night in Los Angeles. The award was accepted by Cherry Beach Sound's head engineer Inaam Haq.
Uptown Funk received widespread critical acclaim spending fourteen consecutive weeks at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, seven non-consecutive weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart, and topped the charts in several other countries including Australia, Canada, France, Ireland and New Zealand.
