music star Johnny Reid
TORONTO, Feb. 16 /CNW/ - The Children's Aid Foundation is honored to announce its partnership with multi-platinum, Juno award nominee, and 13 time CCMA award winner, Johnny Reid.
Johnny has graciously invited the Children's Aid Foundation to join him this fall as he takes his "A Place Called Love" tour across Canada. With over 40 shows scheduled coast-to-coast he will strive to raise funds and awareness for abused and neglected children. As a dedicated family man and father of four, Johnny has teamed up with the Foundation to create his very own custom teddy bear which will be available for purchase at all live shows during his Canadian tour as well as online at www.johnnyreid.com with 100% of all proceeds from the sale of the bear going to help children in need across Canada.
In addition, Johnny is currently in the process of recording a lullaby CD, which will be comprised of 11 instrumental versions of Johnny's biggest hits over the past 10 years. The lullaby CD will accompany the teddy bear and will also be available through www.johnnyreid.com as well as the Children's Aid Foundation's website www.cafdn.org starting September 2010.
