The Christian Coptic Orthodox communities in Ottawa pray for the safety of all Canadians, send their condolences to the family of Cpl Nathan Cirillo
OTTAWA, Oct. 24, 2014 /CNW/ - The Christian Coptic Orthodox communities in Ottawa condemn the heinous murder of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo in Ottawa on October 22, 2014.
Ottawa's three parishes, the church of St. Mary, the church of St. George and St. Anthony, and the church of St. Mark & St. Mary of Egypt were shocked and saddened by this horrific incident that rocked Canada's capital city.
The three parishes also applaud the heroic efforts of all law enforcement agencies in response to the shooting that took place in downtown Ottawa on the morning of October 22.
We pray for the safety and security of all Canadians, and send our condolences to the family members of all affected by this incident.
