CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY FOR ETOBICOKE WOMAN AWARDED $19,000 DENTAL GRANT
ETOBICOKE, ON, Dec. 14 /CNW/ - The Oral Aesthetic Advocacy Group has awarded its latest grant recipient with a Cosmetic Dentistry Grant in the amount of $19,000.
Isabella Migliano learned earlier this month that she was randomly selected from hundreds of applicants across the country and would be receiving a grant. The grant will enable Ms. Migliano to afford life changing dental treatment including a much needed bridge, veneers and teeth whitening.
Ms. Migliano works full time as a legal assistant and said recently, "While most people struggle to make ends meet and cannot afford the luxury of being overly concerned with appearance, the opportunity to apply for and be awarded a dental grant is a dream come true."
"My prayers have been answered and I will have the beautiful smile I have always dreamed of, "said Migliano. "In fact, the experience so far has been much like a day at the spa! Dr. Kochman and his staff have been both gentle and attentive, ensuring that I am comfortable and pain-free - I've even had my choice of movies to watch. Most of all, I am already feeling confident with my appearance."
Dr. Mark Kochman, a general practitioner who practices the surgical, restorative, and prosthetic phases of full-mouth re-constructive dentistry, was also looking forward to his role in this process and said, "Because of the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant program, I am able to work with patients like Ms. Migliano to help them achieve the confident smile they have been longing for. It is a great feeling to be able to give back to the community while continuing to provide a service that I love."
The OAAG was recently founded by Lola Snidman, a long-time advocate of cosmetic dentistry.
The organization has developed comprehensive advocacy programs that help dental practitioners improve on the performance and efficiencies of their practices, and can also help foster positive relationships between their patients and their local communities. Up to $1 million dollars of revenue derived from advocacy programs is then re-allocated to the Cosmetic Dentistry Grants program.
