Christopher West and Jason Evert to headline Archdiocese of Montreal conference on sexuality Français
MONTREAL, Jan. 15, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Two world renowned authors and experts in the spiritual dimension of sexuality will lead the Decoding Love Conference, focusing on the topics of love, sex, friendship and interpersonal relations in the modern world.
The topics will offer a liberating vision of human life and of authentic sexual liberation. "So many people have been erroneously trained to think of their bodies and of sexuality as an obstacle to the spiritual life," Christopher West stated. "Women and men look for love, affirmation, joy and happiness. It's the fundamental cry of every human heart," he added.
The Theology of the Body answers several questions, including: "Why were we created male and female?" "Where do we come from and why?" and "How can we discover the 'language of the body' and how can it help me discover the meaning of my life?"
Jason Evert and Christopher West will give seven sessions (with simultaneous translation) that are open to all and will cover relevant topics for singles, teenagers, young adults, couples, parents, families and pastoral personnel working with the youth, sick or elderly.
Location: Sessions will be held at Loyola High School, at 2477 West Broadway, H4B 1R2, with the exception of the daytime session on January 19, as indicated below.
