Christy Turlington-Burns debuts her film No Woman, No Cry at G(irls)20 Summit
Film sheds light on maternal and child health issue
TORONTO, June 17 /CNW Telbec/ - Thursday, June 17th is day two of the G(irls)20 Summit in Toronto. Today will feature a private screening of No Woman, No Cry, a documentary by first time director Christy Turlington-Burns which follows the powerful stories of at-risk pregnant women in four parts of the world, including a remote Maasai tribe in Tanzania, a slum of Bangladesh, a post-abortion care ward in Guatemala, and a prenatal clinic in the United States.
Thursday evening media will have the opportunity to meet and speak with the 21 delegates, Christy Turlington-Burns and Belinda Stronach at a private reception at Brassaii Restaurant.
