TORONTO, Sept. 10, 2012 /CNW/ - CI Investments Inc. ("CI") announced today that it has completed the merger of 18 mutual funds into other funds in the CI lineup.
The mergers have helped to streamline and simplify the CI lineup, while maintaining a wide choice of investment options for Canadians. With the mergers, the Castlerock funds, which had been operated separately from the CI funds, have been fully integrated into the lineup. CI will now no longer use the Castlerock brand name.

CI will not be proceeding with the proposed merger of CI Japanese Corporate Class into CI Pacific Corporate Class. Instead, CI will close CI Japanese Corporate Class to all investments, effective after the close of business on September 28, 2012.
