CI Financial reports assets under management

TORONTO, June 4, 2012 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") today reported assets under management of $70.5 billion and total assets of $92.5 billion as of May 31, 2012.

Assets under management decreased 3.5% for the month of May, compared to a decline of 6.1% for the S&P/TSX Composite Index. Average assets under management for the year-to-date at May 31, 2012 were $72.1 billion, compared to an average of $72.2 billion for the 2011 fiscal year.

CI also reported assets under administration at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. of $21.9 billion at May 31, 2012.
