CI Financial reports assets under management

TORONTO, Oct. 1, 2015 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") today reported assets under management at September 30, 2015 of $105.3 billion and total assets of $138.5 billion.

Assets under management grew by $4.5 billion or 4.4% year over year and were down 1.9% in the month of September. Total assets gained $6.4 billion or 4.8% for the 12-month period and were down 1.8% in September. In comparison, the S&P/TSX Composite Index declined 8.4% over the 12-month period and fell 3.7% in the month of September.

Average assets under management for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 were $108.5 billion, a decrease of 1.1% from the average for the second quarter. Average assets under management for the year-to-date were $108.3 billion, an increase of $9.9 billion or 10.0% over the average for fiscal 2014.

CI also reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate Private Counsel of $33.2 billion at September 30, 2015, an increase of 6.1% year over year.
