CI Financial reports assets under management

TORONTO, April 3, 2017 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") today reported preliminary assets under management at March 31, 2017 of $120.9 billion and total assets of $160.5 billion.
Assets under management grew by $12.2 billion or 11.2% year over year, and increased by 0.5% in the month of March. Total assets gained $17.2 billion or 12.0% for the 12-month period and were up $1 billion or 0.6% in the month of March.
CI's average assets under management for the first quarter of 2017 were $119.4 billion, representing an increase of $4.6 billion or 4.0% over the average assets under management for the fourth quarter of 2016, and an increase of $8.5 billion or 7.7% over the average for fiscal 2016.
CI reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate Private Counsel of $39.6 billion at March 31, 2017, representing an increase of $5.0 billion or 14.5% year over year.
