CI Financial reports assets under management

TORONTO, July 5, 2017 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") today reported preliminary assets under management at June 30, 2017 of $121.3 billion and total assets of $161.7 billion.
Assets under management grew by $11.7 billion, or 10.7% year over year, and declined 1.6% in the month of June. Total assets gained $16.6 billion or 11.4% for the 12-month period and decreased by 1.5% in the month of June.
CI's average assets under management for the second quarter were $122.7 billion, versus $119.4 billion for the first quarter of 2017, a gain of $3.3 billion or 2.8%. Average assets under management for the year-to-date were $121.1 billion, a gain of $10.2 billion or 9.2% from the average for fiscal year 2016.
CI reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate Private Counsel of $40.4 billion at June 30, 2017, representing an increase of $4.9 billion or 13.8% year over year.
CI is scheduled to release its financial results for the second quarter of 2017 on August 10, 2017, on CNW Group and www.cifinancial.com.
