CI Financial reports assets under management

TORONTO, Sept. 6, 2017 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") today reported preliminary assets under management at August 31, 2017 of $120.5 billion and total assets of $160.7 billion.

Assets under management grew by $8.1 billion or 7.2% year over year, and increased 0.2% in the month of August. Total assets gained $11.3 billion or 7.6% for the 12-month period and grew by 0.2% in the month of August.

CI's average assets under management for the quarter-to-date were $120.5 billion, versus $122.7 billion for the second quarter of 2017. Average assets under management for the year-to-date were $120.9 billion, a gain of $10.0 billion or 9.0% from the average for fiscal 2016.

CI reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate Private Counsel of $40.2 billion at August 31, 2017, representing an increase of $3.2 billion or 8.6% year over year.
