CI Financial reports assets under management for June 2018

TORONTO, July 4, 2018 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") today reported preliminary assets under management at June 30, 2018 of $139.2 billion and total assets of $182.7 billion.

Assets under management grew by $18.1 billion or 14.9% year over year, and decreased 0.1% in the month of June. Total assets gained $21.3 billion or 13.2% for the 12-month period, and were unchanged through the month of June.

CI's average assets under management for the second quarter were $139.5 billion, a decrease of 1.7% from the first quarter of 2018. Average assets under management for the year-to-date were $140.7 billion, a gain of $14.4 billion or 11.4% from the average for fiscal 2017.

CI reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate Private Counsel of $43.5 billion at June 30, 2018, representing an increase of $3.2 billion or 7.9% year over year.
