CI Financial to hold annual meeting on June 11

TORONTO, May 12, 2014 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") will hold its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders on June 11, 2014 in Toronto.

Date: Wednesday, June 11, 2014
Time: 3:30 p.m. EDT
Location: CI Financial offices, 15 York Street, 2^nd Floor, Toronto.

In addition to the formal business of the meeting, there will be presentations by President and Chief Executive Officer Stephen MacPhail, Chief Financial Officer Douglas Jamieson and other CI executives. The meeting also will mark CI's 20^th anniversary as a public company.

Please note that the date of the annual meeting has been changed from June 12 to avoid a conflict with the Ontario general election.
