CI Financial's assets under management reach new record

TORONTO, Dec. 1, 2014  /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") today reported assets under management at November 30, 2014 of $103.2 billion and total assets of $133.0 billion. Both represent new highs for CI.

CI's assets under management grew by $13.5 billion or 15.1% year over year and by $1.9 billion or 1.9% in the month of November. Total assets gained $16.6 billion or 14.3% for the year and $2.5 billion or 1.9% in November.

At $103.2 billion, assets under management at November 30, 2014 were up $2.1 billion or 2.1% from the average assets under management for the third quarter of 2014, and were $19.8 billion or 23.8% higher than the average for fiscal 2013.

CI also reported assets under administration at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. of $29.8 billion at November 30, 2014, an increase of 11.7% year over year.
