TORONTO, Nov. 6, 2017 /CNW/ - CI Investments Inc. ("CI") today announced that it has received the required securityholder approval to proceed with the merger of six funds into other funds with similar mandates.

The mergers relating to Signature High Yield Bond Fund and Synergy Tactical Asset Allocation Fund did not require securityholder approval. Securityholders of the remaining terminating funds approved the mergers at meetings on October 26 and November 2, 2017. In addition, approval was required and received from securityholders of two continuing funds – CI International Value Corporate Class and Select 100e Managed Portfolio Corporate Class.
Pursuant to the mergers, securityholders of each terminating fund received or will receive an equivalent dollar amount of units or shares in the respective continuing fund.
