TORONTO, Dec. 6, 2016 /CNW/ - CI Investments Inc. ("CI") today announced that it has completed the merger of six funds into other funds with similar mandates, as follows:

Pursuant to the mergers, securityholders of each terminating fund received an equivalent dollar amount of units or shares in the respective continuing fund. The mergers were approved by the funds' securityholders, as required, at meetings held on November 24 and December 1, 2016.
In addition, CI Global Fund was renamed Signature Global Equity Fund and CI Global Corporate Class was renamed Signature Global Equity Corporate Class effective December 5, 2016, to reflect that Signature Global Asset Management is portfolio advisor to the funds.
