CI Investments announces portfolio management changes

TORONTO, April 16, 2012 /CNW/ - CI Investments Inc. ("CI") today announced portfolio management changes affecting three funds at its Castlerock Investments and Lakeview Asset Management divisions.

At Castlerock, Cambridge Advisors is being named portfolio manager of Castlerock Canadian Stock Fund and Signature Global Advisors is being named portfolio manager of Castlerock Canadian Balanced Fund. At Lakeview, Cambridge Advisors is being named portfolio manager of Lakeview Disciplined Leadership U.S. Equity Fund. All changes are effective May 1, 2012.

Cambridge Advisors was founded in January 2008 and manages over $3 billion in Canadian, U.S. and global equity and income portfolios. The team is led by Chief Investment Officer Alan Radlo and Portfolio Managers Robert Swanson and Brandon Snow.

Signature Global Advisors manages $35 billion in a broad range of equity, balanced and income funds. The team is led by Chief Investment Officer Eric Bushell.

The current portfolio manager of the Castlerock Canadian Stock and Castlerock Canadian Balanced funds is Greystone Managed Investments Inc. Greystone is continuing as portfolio manager of two other funds, Castlerock Canadian Dividend Growth Fund and Castlerock U.S. Dividend Growth Fund.

The current portfolio manager of Lakeview Disciplined Leadership U.S. Equity Fund is Barometer Capital Inc., which is continuing as portfolio manager of Lakeview Disciplined Leadership Canadian Equity Fund and Lakeview Disciplined Leadership High Income Fund.
