Orléans branch

ORLÉANS, ON, Sept. 17 /CNW/ - Tomorrow, Saturday, September 18th, CIBC celebrates the grand opening of its new 6,750 square-foot CIBC Trim & Innes Banking Centre in southeast Orléans. The state-of-the-art branch replaces CIBC's Centre Fallingbrook location to better serve the community and features evening and Saturday hours, as well as service in English, French, Romanian, Tamil and Sinhalese. To further mark the occasion, CIBC will present a $10,000 donation to Operation Come Home.
Kids at the event can meet *Dora the Explorer™ and have their photo taken from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and families can enjoy fun activities including face painters, a caricaturist and a DJ. Guests can also enjoy a barbecue, popcorn and cotton candy and enter to win great prizes like a $1,000 GIC or an Apple iPad™.
"This is the second new CIBC branch to open in Orléans in the past year and it represents our significant investment in better serving the community," said Sylvain Vinet, CIBC's Senior Vice-President of Retail Markets for Eastern Canada. "We're pleased to celebrate the grand opening of this new branch with so many of our clients."
The branch hours of operation are:
Monday - Wednesday: | 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. |
Thursday - Friday: | 9:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. |
Saturday: | 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. |
The new branch is barrier free with accessibility features such as a sit down teller station and two Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone jacks for audio access and grab bars for mobility assistance. The branch also offers a drive-thru ABM for added convenience.
CIBC has one of the largest branch networks in Canada and clients also benefit from access to more than 3,800 automated bank machines, and 24/7 service by phone, online and through mobile banking.
CIBC's $10,000 donation to Operation Come Home will help the non-profit organization continue to assist at risk and homeless youth in the community. The six pillars of programs and services Operation Come Home offers are a Drop-In/Resource Centre, Education, Employment, Outreach, Reunion and Housing.
"CIBC is an excellent example of corporate social responsibility and is our longest and largest corporate sponsor," said Elspeth McKay, Executive Director of Operation Come Home. "This generous donation will be used to help pay for a support staff person to assist youth with resources, information and referrals. The centre provides services to more than 50 youth per day and this new position will provide us with the resources to provide better service to youth."
