CIBC branches will also collect donations for the Canadian Red Cross
TORONTO, Aug. 20 /CNW/ - CIBC said today it is donating $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to support its work in helping the victims of flooding in Pakistan.
"We recognize that this tragedy has affected millions of people who have lost everything as a result of the flooding," said CIBC President and CEO Gerry McCaughey. "In addition to this contribution, CIBC's branches will be joining in the relief effort by collecting donations from clients and the community."
