CIBC celebrates grand opening of seven-day branch in Calgary
Guests can enter to win a $1,000 GIC or an Apple iPad™ prize pack; $5,000 donation to Fish Creek Library to mark the occasion
CALGARY, Sept. 10 /CNW/ - Tomorrow, Saturday, September 11th, CIBC will celebrate the grand opening of its new seven-day Southcentre branch in Calgary open Saturdays, Sundays and evenings. The spacious two-storey branch, located at Anderson Road and Bonaventure Drive, replaced CIBC's former premises in the neighbourhood and offers service in English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, Romanian and Hungarian. To mark the occasion, CIBC will present a $5,000 donation to the Fish Creek Library.
Guests at the grand opening event can enter to win great prizes, including a $1,000 GIC or an Apple iPad™ 32GB prize pack and enjoy a barbecue by Spolumbo's Fine Food & Deli. Other fun family activities include a tattoo artist, a caricaturist and a race track with remote controlled trucks.

The new full-service branch is barrier free with accessibility features such as sit down teller stations and three Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone jacks for audio access and grab bars for mobility assistance. The branch also offers a drive-thru ABM for added convenience.
Over the past two years CIBC has built, relocated or expanded eight branches in Calgary to give clients greater access and choice and enhance their banking experience.
CIBC clients benefit from one of the largest branch networks in Canada, access to more than 3,800 automated bank machines, and 24/7 service by phone, online and through mobile banking.
CIBC's $5,000 donation to the Fish Creek Library will help fund their AfterSchool Activities in collaboration with The City of Calgary to provide quality, safe and affordable after school programming opportunities for youth ages 6-16 during the "critical hours'" of 3 to 6 p.m. when children are not in school and less likely to be supervised by working parents.
