MONTRÉAL, Dec. 6, 2014 /CNW/ - (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) is lighting up its Head Office to honour the late Jean Béliveau. The building lights at CIBC's headquarters at 1155 Boulevard René-Lévesque illuminate the famous numéro quatre worn by the legendary Canadiens' captain.
"Mr. Béliveau was one of the game's all-time great players but he was also a great man who touched the lives of so many across the province and Canada," said Victor Dodig, President and CEO, CIBC. "Our employees were looking for an appropriate way to pay tribute to him and Luc Grenier, a CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisor, suggested we display his iconic number four on our office tower. Thanks to the partnership with our property manager, Group Petra, we were able make this fitting tribute happen."
