The G20, the Honda Indy, the Queen's visit and the MuchMusic Video Awards. These are just some of the big news events covered by our 2010 Tom Hanson Photojournalism Award winner, Adrien Veczan during a six-week internship with The Canadian Press. You can see, hear and read all about it in Adrien's report. If you want a shot at next year's prize, hurry -- the deadline for the 2011 award is only three weeks away! Young photojournalists are encouraged to apply by sending in their proposal, portfolio and resume no later than January 7, 2011. read more
Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding lifetime contribution to Journalism in Canada. Former Le Devoir editor-in-chief Lise Bissonnette won last year's award. Who will you nominate this year? Deadline for nominations is February 1, 2011. read more
Excellence in Journalism Award
The Excellence in Journalism Award honours an organization which embodies exemplary journalistic standards and practices. Robert MacNeil Honoured at 2011 Awards Gala

2010 Journalism Integrity Award
Last year J-Source launched its Journalism Integrity Award, which recognizes a person or organization that has had a positive impact on the quality of journalism in Canada. The 2009 award was given to the gutsy employees of CHEK-TV in Victoria, BC, who refused to give up their fight to save local TV. Who will win this year?
