Clarification by NATIONAL Public Relations

MONTREAL, June 18, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - NATIONAL Public Relations would like to make a clarification in light of Jean Gauthier's testimony at the Charbonneau Commission, concerning one of its consultants seconded to the Mayor's Office and to the Executive Committee at the City of Laval.

The consultant, Pierre Desjardins, is a freelancer on contract, with a non-exclusive professional relationship with NATIONAL.

Mr. Desjardins did paid partisan political work for the Parti PRO des Lavallois beyond his mandate with NATIONAL for the City of Laval.

NATIONAL is not privy to the conditions of Mr. Desjardins' contract with the Parti PRO des Lavallois.

Last week, NATIONAL informed the City of Laval and Pierre Desjardins that it was putting an end to its mandate with the municipality. This decision will come into full effect by July 10^th at latest.
