Clément Bridge: Confirmation of the Paving Work at the Entrance of Bonaventure Expressway from June 29 to July 3 Français
LONGUEUIL, QC, June 29, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to confirm to motorists that the Clément Bridge will be completely closed to traffic starting Friday, June 29 at 11 PM until Tuesday, July 3 at 5 AM.
Access to Nuns' Island will be closed via the Bonaventure Expressway
For Nuns' Island residents, it is important to note that direct access to the island by exit 5 on the Bonaventure Expressway will be closed during this period. Therefore, access to Nuns' Island will be carried out via Exit 4 of the Bonaventure Expressway, then through exit 57 or 57-N on Highway 15 towards the South Shore. Exit 57 on Highway 15 North via the Champlain Bridge will also be open.
Please note there will be no major work on the Champlain Bridge during this period and that all lanes will be open.
Route 132: closure at night under the Champlain Bridge
We also wish to advise road users that two out of three lanes will be closed on Route 132 eastbound (towards the Jacques Cartier Bridge) under the Champlain Bridge between 11 PM and 5 AM on the night of Tuesday, July 3 to Wednesday, July 4 and on the night of Wednesday, July 4 to Thursday, July 5. Please also note the closure of one of two lanes on the frontage road of Route 132 (Marie-Victorin Boulevard) eastbound on the night of Tuesday, July 3 to Wednesday, July 4.
These closures will make marking road on Route 132 in the Champlain Bridge area. Please also note that this work may be postponed depending on weather conditions.
