LONGUEUIL, QC, May 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Clemex Technologies inc, announces that it will exhibit at the AIHCE (American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Expo) to be held in Denver Colorado, May 22nd to 27th 2010.

Clemex adapted its flagship image analysis system, Vision PE, for Asbestos fiber characterization by developing a specific analysis method in conjunction with l'Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et sécurité du travail (IRSST) of the province of Quebec, Canada. Following the analysis method development, IRSST, who was desperately searching for an automated and repeatable analysis procedure for its fiber counting program quality control purchased a high end image analysis system from Clemex. The instrument is now used on a daily basis to evaluate various fiber samples, mainly Asbestos coming from several workplaces.

IRSST will also participate to the same Conference and will give a poster presentation describing the image analysis process performed by the Clemex instrument in their laboratory for the characterization of Asbestos fibers.
