Clique Hotels & Resorts survives recent flooding
Update from Canmore, Alberta
CANMORE, AB, June 27, 2013 /CNW/ - Clique Hotels & Resorts would like to update travelers and tourists coming to the Canmore area on the status of our hotels after the recent floods in our town. We are pleased to report that 3 of our 4 hotels have not received any damage and are operating at full service. These hotels include; Falcon Crest Lodge, Blackstone Mountain Lodge and Copperstone Resort. Regretfully, the Stoneridge Mountain Resort did incur some damages to the parkade level and the first floor. Despite this, we will be opening the Stoneridge Mountain Resort Friday, June 28, 2013.
The Stoneridge employees, staff and friends have worked hard to clean and restore our beautiful resort. We will open hotel rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor levels Friday. We are also offering Special Hotel Room Rates for the Canada Day Long Weekend! In addition to our great news, the TransCanada Highway reopened yesterday, offering travelers easy access into Canmore and the surrounding area.
"We are truly proud of our mountain community, as we have all come together to rebuild our town. We look forward to welcoming tourists and guests to Canmore in the days, weeks, months and years to come. We invite you to enjoy the beauty of what Canmore has to offer. ", Jim Muir, President of Clique Hotels & Resorts.
