LONGUEUIL, QC, March 1, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to inform motorists of the closure of Atwater Exit (exit 61) on Highway 15 South during the day, on Saturday March 3 between 8 AM and 10 AM until 10:30 PM, and on Sunday March 4 from 5 AM to 10:30 PM.
The closure on Saturday morning will begin between 8 AM and 10 AM in coordination with the end of the work carried out by the ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) on Highway 15 North at La Vérendrye exit. In order to facilitate traffic, coordination will take place on-site, so that the roadwork starts as soon as the MTQ allows for the reopening of Highway 15 North.
This closure will enable the lifting of the concrete barrier installed near the federal section of Highway 15. During this period, road users are invited to use Wellington exit (Exit 60) on Highway 15 South.
Please note that these closures could be rescheduled due to weather conditions and progress of the work.
