MERCIER, QC, Feb. 12, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification des transports wishes to inform road users that mobile work on the lighting system will require some closures on Monday, February 15th between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. One lane of the ramp leading from the Road 138 to Montréal as long as one lane on the entrance of the Honoré-Mercier Bridge will be closed. Also, the ramp of the Road 132 towards Montréal will be completely closed. The detour will be by Old Malone Road.
Those interventions might be shortened or cancelled due to work progression, weather conditions or operational constraints.
Between 2015 and 2017, about $4.9 billion will be invested by the ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification des transports in the road network, and approximately 33 500 workers will be working on some 1 900 construction sites throughout Québec. In the Greater Montréal area alone, over 17 300 workers will be present on about 350 construction sites. To plan your trips and find out about current and projected traffic hindrance, consult the Mobility Montréal section of the Québec511.info website. Respecting road signs is vital for the safety of road users and workers.
