MERCIER, QC, Feb. 19, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification des transports wishes to inform road users that work on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge will require the closure of one lane toward the south shore on February 22nd, 23rd and 24th between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
On February 22nd, from 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m., one lane toward Montréal will be closed and the ramp of the Road 132 toward Montréal will be completely closed. The detour will be by Old Malone Road.
Those interventions might be shortened or cancelled due to work progression, weather conditions or operational constraints.
Between 2015 and 2017, about $4.9 billion will be invested by the ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification des transports in the road network, and approximately 33 500 workers will be working on some 1 900 construction sites throughout Québec.
