Closures on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge on March 7th, 8th, 9th

MERCIER, QC, March 4, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification des transports wishes to inform road users that work on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge will require the closure of one lane toward the south shore on March 7^th, 8^th and 9^th,  between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.

Those interventions might be shortened or cancelled due to work progression, weather conditions or operational constraints.

Between 2015 and 2017, about $4.9 billion will be invested by the ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification des transports in the road network, and approximately 33 500 workers will be working on some 1 900 construction sites throughout Québec. In the Greater Montréal area alone, over 17 300 workers will be present on about 350 construction sites.
