To kick off the day, the opening keynote will be delivered by Canadian bestselling author of Wikinomics, Don Tapscott, who is one of the world's leading authorities on innovation, media, and the economic and social impact of technology.
It will be the first speaking engagement in Canada for Tapscott and will serve as the Canadian launch of his new book, Blockchain Revolution. This new book examines why blockchain technology will fundamentally change the Internet, what it does, how we use it and both the promise and peril it poses for our civilization. In particular, Tapscott will talk about how blockchain technology will transform the way brands connect with their consumers.
