QUEBEC CITY, Feb. 13, 2014 /CNW/ - CO₂ Solutions Inc. (TSX-V: CST), an innovator in the field of enzyme-enabled carbon capture technology, today announced that Jonathan A. Carley, CO₂ Solutions' Vice-President of Business Development, will Chair the 2014 Carbon Dioxide Utilization Congress: Exploring the Landscape of Industrial Applications of CO₂, on February 19, 2014 in San Diego, California.

This event comes at a time when large industries, such as the oil, gas and power generation sectors, are actively seeking ways to reduce their carbon emissions due to growing concerns and regulatory pressure over climate change. The opportunity to use these waste emissions commercially is also emerging as a key area of interest complementary to carbon reduction efforts.
