MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 13, 2017 /CNW/ - Air Georgian's innovative SOAR program for aviation career awareness, recruitment and retention continues to grow with the addition of Coastal Pacific Aviation (CPA) to its flight school program. The partnership provides a career pathway for flight instructors at CPA to become First Officers with Air Georgian.
"CPA is very proud to be working with an outstanding airline such as Air Georgian," says Brian Kong, Director of Flight Operations for CPA. "We're looking forward to allowing the best qualified instructors to advance their aviation career with a member of the Air Canada Express family."
About the SOAR Program
CPA enters SOAR though Air Georgian's ATAC member program which is open to all ATAC member airlines and flight schools. The program is designed to provide SOAR partnered operators and flight schools with highly predictable, timed attrition with greatly extended notice periods while providing their employees visibility regarding career progression with an entry point to the Air Canada system. With the addition of CPA, the list of ATAC member partners continues to grow even ahead of SOAR's official launch in November 2017.
SOAR (Sharing Opportunities for Advancement and Reward) is comprised of three initiatives:
