Iconic supporter of major sporting events to quench thirst of athletes, spectators at "People's Games"
TORONTO, Dec. 6, 2013 /CNW/ - Coca-Cola is adding flavour to the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games as the Official Supplier of Non-Alcoholic Beverages.
The company, a proud sponsor of the Olympic Games since 1928, will refresh athletes, officials and spectators with its broad assortment of products, including: sparkling soft drinks, still waters, juices and fruit beverages, sports drinks and ready-to-drink teas at venues throughout the Games footprint, including the CIBC Pan Am/Parapan Am Athletes' Village.
Coca-Cola has played a pivotal role in Canada at each of the past Olympic Games in Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver, as well as at the Winnipeg 1999 Pan Am Games.
The company is also a supporter of all 204 National Olympic Committees and their teams, including those from the Americas and Caribbean coming to Toronto in 2015, and a longstanding sponsor of premier sporting events and organizations, including the FIFA World Cup, the PGA Tour, Formula One, National Basketball Association (NBA) and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), and national literary, music and cultural festivals in countries around the world.
