Cohn & Wolfe expands Integrated Health Communication team

TORONTO and MONTREAL , Jan. 20 /CNW/ - Cohn & Wolfe is expanding, adding another senior practitioner to its Integrated Health Communication team, to further strengthen its capabilities and capacity. Patrick Keenan , a communication veteran with broad international and specialized healthcare experience, joins as a senior vice president.

Patrick is an experienced communication expert, having worked with many of the world's leading multinational companies in national and international communications. "We are very excited about 2010. Prior to joining Cohn & Wolfe, Patrick was managing director of a specialist public relations firm in Singapore . Before that, Patrick was director in the Singapore office of a global public relations firm, where he established the healthcare practice, building the team into an award-winning group of professionals, working in the areas of male and female health, adult and children's nutrition, liver disease, eye disease, oncology, vaccines and anti-virals. In that capacity, Patrick advised many of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, including Abbott, Allergan, Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Drager Medical, MSD, Novartis, Pfizer and Wyeth.

He recently completed his MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles , through the Anderson School of Management, one of the world's most highly ranked business schools. He earned a business degree at Concordia University in Montreal and is bilingual.
