Collaborative Partnership Brings New Solutions to Home Care
MISSISSAUGA, ON, April 12, 2016 /CNW/ - The Canadian Home Care Association (CHCA), the national association for home care stakeholders in Canada, and CBI Health Group, a leader in rehabilitation and integrated community healthcare services, are pleased to announce a new collaborative partnership. CBI Health Group is taking on a new and unique role as CHCA Home Care Knowledge Network Innovation Seeker.
In 2015, CHCA launched the Home Care Knowledge Network to facilitate capacity building in the home care sector. Through the Home Care Knowledge Network, stakeholders collectively identify and address issues that impact the availability and delivery of high quality home care services. The Home Care Knowledge Network provides access to expert consultation and coaching, in addition to tools and resources to build capacity.
" The Home Care Knowledge Network uses a systematic approach to finding, adapting and scaling existing solutions to solve home care challenges", stated Réal Cloutier, CHCA President. "Our goal is to support home care policy makers, program developers and providers deliver high quality, cost effective care."

CHCA and CBI Health Group have committed to work together to bring innovative ideas, concepts and potential solutions to home care stakeholders in Canada and to explore new models of care delivery. "We look toward to this unique collaboration as a starting point and a key step in building home care capacity to address growing demand", commented Nadine Henningsen, CHCA Executive Director. "CBI Health Group will take an active role in helping to identify and share new models and potential solutions to meet the needs of the Knowledge Network HUBs across the country."
