WINDSOR, ON, May 1, 2017 /CNW/ - Building on its support of junior hockey and those who challenge the limits of their own potential, Collins Barrow is proud to be named a National and Local sponsor of the 2017 Mastercard Memorial Cup.
Teaming up again with former NHLer and three-time Memorial Cup winner Darcy Tucker, Canada's mid-market alternative for audit, tax and advisory services is launching the next chapter of its "Be A Challenger" campaign. Among other highlights, it will include a coveted opportunity for a fan and two friends to join Tucker at the championship game in Windsor, ON.
"During last year's Memorial Cup and through other initiatives, Collins Barrow had the honour of inviting Canadians to share in the Challenger mindset – the desire to go above and beyond and achieve more. As we continue the Challenger program with Darcy and celebrate excellence in junior hockey, we knew it was time to answer the 'why,'" said Doug Kroetsch, chair, Collins Barrow National.
"As we reflect on our mission to offer clients unparalleled value, we are eager to inspire others to consider their own 'why' and how embracing the Challenger mindset can help them accomplish this."
"Be A Challenger: What's your why?" invites Canadians to share their personal "why" (their mission or purpose), be it as an entrepreneur, a change-maker or a role model for their families, for a chance to win tickets to the championship game on May 28 with Tucker or one of three autographed jerseys. (The contest closes on May 22, 2017. Full rules can be found at BeAChallenger.ca.) Entrepreneurs are invited to take their business to the next level with a complimentary e-book, Incorporation and The First Year After.
Fans will also have the opportunity to meet Tucker prior to the May 28 championship game at the Collins Barrow booth in the WFCU Centre arena concourse. While in Windsor, Tucker and the team will also visit with a local charity to share the Challenger mindset.
"Playing in the Memorial Cup was a milestone in my career, and I'm proud to once again partner with Collins Barrow to celebrate the grit and determination that teams from all across Canada are bringing to this competition," said Tucker. "I'm also looking forward to continuing our 'Be A Challenger' journey, and hope we're able to inspire fans to think about their 'why' in life and how to reach that next level of success."
