TORONTO, Dec. 21, 2016 /CNW/ - As its latest campaign inviting Canadians to "Be A Challenger" comes to an end, Collins Barrow is unveiling the winners of its Challengers' Night Out with Darcy Tucker contest. Five winners and their guests will join the NHL fan favourite for an exclusive dinner and enjoy box seats at a Toronto Maple Leafs' game in Toronto on Feb. 25, 2017.
It's the culmination of the audit, tax and advisory network's "Be A Challenger" program, which encouraged Canadians to embrace the Challenger mindset – whether in business, their community or everyday life.
To enter the contest, participants got into the Challenger spirit and shared a photo of their Tucker-inspired "Crazy Eyes" (their fierce game face!) on social media. The winners of the Collins Barrow Challengers' Night Out with Darcy Tucker are:
"Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to all those who entered our contest and joined the 'Be A Challenger' movement," said Doug Kroetsch, chair, Collins Barrow National. "We're proud of the success of this initiative, and although the program is ending, we'll continue to embrace the Challenger principles to enhance the value we provide, and hope we've inspired Canadians to discover how this mindset can help them achieve their own goals."
The "Be A Challenger" campaign also included a four-video series, which ranged from Tucker light-heartedly offering tips on finding a financial advisor, to the emotionally charged rally cry, "We Are Challengers." A free e-book, "10 Questions to Ask Your Next Financial Advisor," featuring tips for entrepreneurs and small- to medium-sized businesses on how to choose a financial advisor/accountant, was also available to download at BeAChallenger.ca.
"This program has been a rewarding experience for me – the excitement of the fans and encouraging them to go above and beyond by being Challengers," said Tucker. "It's an important value I share with Collins Barrow that helped propel my hockey career and continues to guide me in what I do today. It's been a real pleasure to help spread this message."
