Collins Barrow Durham set to kick off Durham Exports business conference
COURTICE, ON, Sept. 13, 2016 /CNW/ - Collins Barrow Durham is gearing up to welcome local business leaders tomorrow to Durham Exports, a conference on building business opportunities and growth through exporting.
Those interested can still sign up for the event, which runs Sept. 14 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Ajax Convention Centre and is presented alongside the Region of Durham Economic Development.
"Durham Exports will connect the business community to the insights and tools needed to find new growth opportunities with international customers," said Collins Barrow Durham Consultants Inc. president Peter Hobb. "In today's evolving and competitive global market, the right strategy is essential for success."
Conference delegates will have access to government, export aid agencies (EDC, Ontario Chamber of Commerce Global Growth Fund), banking professionals and local business leaders who have found international success through export. They will learn about trends in opportunity markets, where to find funding support, how to build a strong export strategy and how to reduce risks.
"We know growth is top of mind for business leaders," said John Clausen, senior vice president of Collins Barrow Durham Consultants Inc., "and we look forward to empowering them with valuable resources and opportunities to prosper in export markets and achieve their goals."
