Collins Barrow Edmonton CA a delegate on PM's China trip

EDMONTON, Feb. 14, 2012 /CNW/ - Samuel Young, CA, CFA, a corporate finance and tax partner with Collins Barrow Edmonton, one of Western Canada's largest dedicated mid-market audit, tax and financial advisory services firms, was privileged to be among the 40-member executive delegation accompanying Prime Minister Stephen Harper from Feb. 8 to 11 on his official three-city visit to China.

The delegation's mission was twofold: to strengthen partnership and trading arrangements by striking new and renewed bilateral trade deals, and convincing Chinese leaders to sign a comprehensive agreement aimed at allowing Canadian banks, insurers, investors and companies in the energy, natural resources, scientific research, technology, agriculture and other key sectors, along with those already operating there, to gain much greater access to their markets.
