Collins Barrow is expanding through Southwestern Ontario and across Canada
TORONTO, Sept. 7, 2018 /CNW/ - Canada's largest network of independent accounting, tax and specialty services firms is boldly expanding their reach across the country. Already, firms in Vancouver, Toronto and across Southwestern Ontario are set to join Collins Barrow National before years end. Firm and location details will be shared through September and October 2018. Many of our incoming firms are major players in their markets, dedicated to providing clients, partners and staff with enhanced services, national resources and agility that can only be achieved via independent management.
Boasting 48 offices from coast-to-coast, the all-Canadian group includes over 1250 professionals and offers clients a diverse array of financial and speciality services, ranging from audit, accounting and tax advisory to other strategic business building services such as corporate finance, human resources consulting, cyber-security, legal, IT consulting and much more.
Thanks to its unique cooperative model, Collins Barrow encourages firms – who remain independently owned and operated – to "punch above their weight class" in the mid-market and create exceptional value for clients. The results of this model are clear: in the past five years the network has seen revenue growth of $80M, developed a Canadian brand with true resonance in all major and secondary markets, embarked on transformational advancements in information technology, and most importantly attracted talent who appreciate the culture, opportunities and visibility that only this type of network can offer.
While most major accounting and financial services companies are fully-integrated, Collins Barrow's alternative structure of independent management means firms know and develop regional markets more strategically, and are empowered to grow as entrepreneurs. The support they receive at a National level, rounds out any additionally required resources, expertise and brand development.
"Firms who are interested in joining the network must share our intrepid and driven mindset, which has made Collins Barrow the trusted Canadian alternative for accounting, tax and business advisory support," said Ken Tammadge, who leads firm recruitment at Collins Barrow National. "Launching unique specialty services is a hallmark element of our strategy for growth and client success – one we're eager to expand with new firms in new markets."
Collins Barrow is agile and local, but also a one-stop-shop for financial advisory services in primary and secondary markets across the country and even globally. As the proud Canadian representative of Baker Tilly International, they maintain their independent structure, while also accessing experts and firms in 147 countries globally. As well, the network offers an Alliance program for like-minded firms, who are not seeking full membership at this time.
"Our shared vision for growth in the coming years is audacious, but strategic," said Collins Barrow National chair, Grant Galbraith. "We have proven our success in key markets across this country. The Collins Barrow competitive advantage makes us the best launch pad for revenue growth, talent acquisition, innovation and most importantly client satisfaction," he concluded.
