TORONTO, Dec. 22. 2014 /CNW/ - After spending two-and-half years at the helm of Collins Barrow National, steering its management committee through a series of bold strategic moves in his role as chair, Dan Longlade, FCPA, FCA, a partner of Collins Barrow Sudbury-Nipissing LLP, will be stepping down from his post to resume his seat on the board.
Succeeding Dan in the new year will be the board's current secretary-treasurer Douglas Kroetsch, CA, a partner of Collins Barrow Edmonton LLP.
Leveraging the strengths of Collins Barrow's entrepreneurial culture and fast-growing national network, which shot to 26 from 21 member firms in 48 offices across Canada, Dan oversaw a series of ambitious initiatives, further cementing the firm's place as a dominant force in the mid-market for audit, tax and advisory services.
"That so much has been achieved in so short a period speaks above all to the power of our shared vision," says Dan. "I'm confident that under Doug's stewardship, we will continue to pursue our aggressive expansion plans, which promise to make the next three years even more exciting."
