Columbia Sportswear announces exclusive media event in Calgary, Blue Mountain
and Mt. Gabriel - RSVP today

LONDON , ON, Dec. 2 /CNW/ - Columbia Sportswear invites members of the media to an exclusive media event in one of the following three cities:

    
    Calgary, Alberta - 11:30am, January 8, 2010
    Blue Mountain, Ontario - 10:00am, January 20, 2010
    Mt. Gabriel, Quebec - 10:00am, January 30, 2010
    

The event in each city will introduce media to a revolutionary technology in outerwear that will change the way consumers stay warm in cold weather. Attend the exclusive preview of Columbia's Omni-Heat technology and then stay to watch the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team compete (from the VIP viewing area), hit the slopes and receive some hot Columbia gear. This new technology will be worn by Canada's mogul and aerial athletes for the first time when they go for Gold in Vancouver .

On each of the media days, the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team will be competing in World Cup qualifying events for the 2010 Winter Olympics:

    
    Moguls and Aerials - Canada Olympic Park in Calgary
    Ski Cross - Blue Mountain
    Aerials - Mt. Gabriel
