Comaplex Provides its Final Update on the 2009 Meliadine West Exploration
Program

2009 Drill Program ------------------
Diamond drilling on the Meliadine West property was completed in mid September with camp closure on
Drilling results from the 2009 program have been released in four previous releases (
Detailed drill results from all of the recent drill holes are attached to this release. Highlights from holes in the Tiriganiaq deposit include:
17.8 gmt gold over 12.1 meters in hole M09-841 and: 10.7 gmt gold over 10.8 meters and: 11.0 gmt gold over 5.0 meters 24.6 gmt gold over 10.3 meters in hole M09-850 and: 12.1 gmt gold over 4.7 meters and: 9.6 gmt gold over 3.3 meters 11.7 gmt gold over 3.3 meters in hole M09-852 and: 18.2 gmt gold over 5.1 meters 19.1 gmt gold over 3.1 meters in hole M09-853 and: 7.9 gmt gold over 6.4 meters 27.5 gmt gold over 3.5 meters in hole M09-854 and: 17.8 gmt gold over 2.9 meters 9.8 gmt gold over 12.2 meters in hole M09-860
Diamond drilling by Comaplex in the Western Deeps portion of the Tiriganiaq gold deposit was extremely successful in 2009. Additional gold mineralization was outlined in the 1255 lode (http://files.newswire.ca/437/figure1.pdf), but delineation of multiple mineralized surfaces in the 1150 series of lodes (especially the 1153 lode) was also achieved. Gold mineralization in the 1153 lode has now been extended over more than 800 meters of plunge/strike length with a gold tenor comparable to the 1255 lode. Additional mineralized surfaces in the 1154 and 1152 lodes are also expected to add to the resource base. All of the lodes are open down plunge to the west (http://files.newswire.ca/437/figure2.pdf). Drilling in the Western Deeps also intersected strong gold mineralization in several new lodes (1050 and 1350) that will be targets for delineation in 2010 (see previous releases 09-12 and 09-14).
F Zone Drilling ---------------
A total of 17 additional shallow drill holes (1368 meters) were completed in the F Zone at the end of the season to increase the open pit resource base in the zone (an additional 16 holes were drilled in the F Zone at the start of the 2009 program). The goal was to move as much of the potential open pit resources as possible up in category for inclusion in a future feasibility study. The assay results were very positive, with widening of existing mineralization and addition of new open pittable zones in the deposit. Highlights from the latest F Zone drilling include:
9.9 gmt gold over 7.0 meters in hole M09-845 9.6 gmt gold over 4.2 meters in hole M09-855 and: 5.6 gmt gold over 2.6 meters 9.5 gmt gold over 4.6 meters in hole M09-859 6.9 gmt gold over 7.2 meters in hole M09-861
The results of the F Zone drill program will be incorporated into a new resource for the deposit. No drilling was completed in 2009 to test the underground potential of the F Zone even though many of the small proposed open pits are open to depth (http://files.newswire.ca/437/figure3.pdf). Additional drilling is required in 2010.
Interim Studies ---------------
Golder Associates is presently in the process of processing and compiling geotechnical, geochemical, and environmental data completed on the two gold deposits in Meliadine West (Tiriganiaq and F Zone) and on the 50% owned Discovery deposit on the Meliadine East property (operated by RCF).
Future Resource Estimates -------------------------
Comaplex is planning to incorporate the 2009 drill results into updated resource estimates it intends to complete for each of the F Zone and Tiriganiaq deposits on Meliadine West and the Discovery deposit on Meliadine East. Comaplex also plans to complete new resource estimates of the Wolf and Pump gold deposits on the Meliadine West property. These two deposits underwent considerable drilling by Western Mining Corporation (WMC) in the latter half of the 1990's, but Comaplex has never released resources on either deposit. This work will form the basis for drill testing of the two deposits next season.
Comaplex's goal in 2009 is to advance the Meliadine West property to a level that will support initiation of a Feasibility Study as soon as possible.
Doug Dumka, P.Geo. is the Exploration Manager for Comaplex Minerals and is the Senior Project Geologist and designated Qualified Person (Q.P.) for the Meliadine West Project.
Drill core analysis is performed on cut, half NQ core with standard fire assay procedures and a gravimetric finish (2 assay ton, 1000 gram pulp). QA/QC programs employ the insertion of external standards (low to high grade Au), blanks, and core duplicates every 20 samples. All assaying was completed by TSL Laboratories Ltd. based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. TSL completes its own internal QA/QC by inserting a standard, blank, pulp duplicate, and coarse reject duplicate in every batch of 20 analyses. QA/QC compliance was rigorously checked on a continuous basis during the exploration program.
Meterage provided is measured down hole and intersection widths are interpreted to be approximately 75% of true width.
