PARIS, July 25, 2014 /CNW/ - Technicolor, a worldwide technology leader in the media and entertainment sector has signed an agreement with Comarch in France for the implementation of an international project of document scanning and workflow in France, the USA and Poland. Business benefits for Technicolor will primarily be a reduction of costs and improvement of work centers.
The aim of the project is to improve processes in Technicolor's Accounts Payable service centers by automating the workflow through automatic extraction of data from documents using OCR, as well as integration with ERP systems used by Technicolor.
"Technicolor became convinced by the flexibility of our system, reference visits which were carried out with several of our clients, as well as Comarch's activities and references in the French market. Comarch ECM will enable Technicolor to significantly reduce costs. According to the IDC report, 80% of companies achieved cost reductions through the implementation of an ECM solution. For us, this is another very important client and a sign of Comarch group's development in Western Europe and the USA, which is in line with the strategy of our company," says Adam Beldzik, director of Comarch ECM.

During the tender, companies from France, the USA and other countries were taken into account. After a 10-month period of negotiation the Group decided to choose Comarch because of the quality of the proposed Comarch ECM solution, as well as for their great flexibility and reactivity during the talks.
